Livestock & Aquaculture Microbiome ManagerAbout ADM Health & WellnessThe Health & Wellness division is part of ADM’s global Nutrition business, encompassing Human & Animal Nutrition and Health & Wellness (Human, Pets & Animal) divisions.The Global Health & Wellness R&D team operates across six locations — North America, Spain, Ireland, England, Switzerland, and China — and focuses on developing cutting-edge, science-based products that advance well-being.The successful candidate will report to the Microbiome Health & Wellness R&D Centre Director and be based in Lausanne, Switzerland. This role plays a key part in driving Livestock and Aquaculture Microbiome projects, developing innovative, science-based wellness ingredients that will differentiate ADM in global markets.Your ResponsibilitiesManage the Livestock & Aquaculture Microbiome project pipeline for our global segments.Coordinate multiple project teams to deliver the product roadmap to market.Leverage your expertise and collaborate across technical areas to define product requirements for new applications, coordinate Livestock & Aquaculture zootechnical and clinical studies, and ensure effective data transfer to the business.Be responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of all research projects related to Livestock & Aquaculture Microbiome, working closely with colleagues in R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, marketing, and commercial functions.Collaborate with the Animal Nutrition division and related R&D functions to align strategies and development priorities.Support products throughout their life cycle via a Stage-Gate Process, including ideation, development, market launch, and on-market retention.Contribute to building deep expertise in Livestock & Aquaculture Microbiome, representing ADM in customer interactions, scientific collaborations, and conferences.Proactively identify, manage, and plan for product development risks and mitigation strategies.Support the growth of ADM’s external R&D ecosystem, developing high-level research projects with reliable partners, including scientists and customers.Your ProfilePh.D. in Animal Sciences, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, Veterinary Research, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Feed Industry R&D, ideally with direct experience in Microbiome solutions, including Biotics (e.g., Probiotics, Prebiotics).3+ years of experience managing research and product development pipelines.Strong data-driven approach to project ideation, planning, prioritization, and execution.Familiarity with regulatory requirements for biotics development.Proven innovator, with a track record of developing new ideas through collaboration and translating strategic direction into actionable results.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.Demonstrated executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities.Availability to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international).Our OfferChallenging tasks, short decision-making processes, and a high level of personal responsibility in a modern, flexible work environment.Room for innovation and growth, with the opportunity to shape your own career path.A company culture that promotes continuous learning, diversity, and inclusion.Excellent career opportunities within a world-leading nutrition company.
