Medical Affairs Specialist - 6 months

Key Responsibilities
* Project Coordination: Ability to proactively oversee, execute and report project tasks according to the directives from management, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines based on the project plan provided.
* Event and Meeting Coordination: Strong organisational skills in planning, coordinating, and executing events and meetings as per the business plan provided by superiors, including location scouting, travel management, and logistic/admin organisation, ensuring smooth operations and successful outcomes.
* Task Force Support: Effective support for Task Forces by organising meetings, ensuring all bureaucratic requirements are met, maintaining all information and reports in order, drafting minutes and documents, and ensuring proper communication of updates and decisions.
* Problem‑Solving and Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify problems and notify superior proactively, analyse options, and propose effective solutions.
* Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a dynamic environment.
* Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
* Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work.
* Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and experts.
* Stakeholder Relations: Proficiency in handling relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs and expectations met.
* Event Representation: Skilled in representing the organisation at events and congresses, ensuring a professional and positive presence.
* Cross‑Cultural Communication: Sensitivity and adeptness in engaging with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring respectful and effective international relations.
Industry Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of the medical / health sector relevant to the position.
Technical Proficiency
* Proficiency in relevant software and technologies specific to the job role (i.e., SurveyMonkey / Qualtrics, Zoom / Teams platforms, Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
* In-depth knowledge in handling the production of scientific publications will be a prioritised skill, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy in the publication process.
Certifications
Project management certification is desirable.
Required Professional Experience & Education
* A university degree is preferred, with a focus on Life Sciences or a relevant discipline considered an asset.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience in working in the medical or scientific sector is desired.
* Experience in working in the field of oncology, real world data and AI is an advantage.
Required Skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and self‑organisation skills.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (predominantly SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook).
* Proficiency in relevant software and technologies specific to the job role (i.e., SurveyMonkey / Qualtrics, Zoom / Teams platforms).
* Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat annotation and drawing markup tools.
* Good knowledge of a reference library management system.
* English – level C2
