Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Technical Lead Software Engineer.
Location: Basel
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical design and implementation of robust, scalable systems using the latest market technologies
* Design and implement extensions to the existing e-banking back-end solution
* Refactor and optimize the current code-base to improve robustness, scalability and maintainability
* Migrate to new technologies, platforms and language features, ensuring seamless adoption and ongoing updates
* Provide guidance, training, and feedback to foster skill growth and team excellence
Required Experience and Skills:
* Higher education (university / FH) in Computer Science, Information Technology or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education
* 10 years of practical experience in the field of Senior Software Engineering using C#
* Excellent in Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL and excellent .NET 8.0 knowledge
* Ability to work with various stakeholders
* Hands-on mentality as well as willingness to take responsibility
* Capability to work independently as well as ability to work under pressure
* Fluency in English
