Your key responsibilities
* Prepare and present a variety of cold dishes, including salads, starters, cold appetizers, terrines and other garde-manger specialties, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
* Take responsibility for the garde-manger section during service, maintaining organisation, timing and smooth workflow within the team.
* Ensure proper mise en place and preparation for service, keeping the section well organised and fully stocked.
* Maintain consistent quality, freshness and presentation of all cold dishes, paying close attention to detail and aesthetics.
* Monitor product quality, storage and handling of ingredients, ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
* Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication and coordination during service.
* Contribute to the creation and improvement of cold dishes and presentations, supporting the overall culinary experience of our guests.
* Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment at all times.
What you bring to the job
* Completed training as a Cook (EFZ).
* 3-4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in 5-star hospitality.
* Good spoken Italian and English; German is an advantage.
* Strong commitment to quality and a keen eye for detail.
* Resilient, with a positive attitude and enjoyment of teamwork.
* High level of motivation and dedication.
* You must be a Swiss or EU national to apply for this position.
Our offer
* Fixed-term seasonal position from early June to early September 2026; further seasons are welcome.
* 5-day work week with an average of 43.5 hours per week.
* 5 weeks of vacation and 6 public holidays per year.
* 13th month salary from the start date (pro rata temporis).
