Tax accounting & us tax lead

What You Will Do Daily:

1. Projects/Tax consulting
2. Support the Head of Tax with US tax related projects
3. Manage US tax consultants and tax services providers
4. Automatize tax processes, leveraging third parties software and AI tools
5. Tax compliance
6. Timely prepare U.S. federal, state and local returns income tax returns
7. Prepare Forms 1042
8. Prepare US sales tax returns
9. Manage US tax audits
10. Tax Accounting/Reporting
11. Prepare and book the IC / TP computations & year-end adjustments
12. Prepare the monthly/quarterly/annual tax provisions for worldwide legal entities and relative JE
13. Reconcile the tax accounts
14. Assist with financial modeling and forecasting of various ad hoc transactions/scenarios
15. Improve the existing tax reporting/compliance processes
16. Manage the preparation of the quarterly and annual Group consolidated US GAAP Tax provision
17. Prepare group tax forecast

The Experience You Will Need:

18. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
19. Minimum of 5 years in US corporate taxation, ideally with a mix of experience in a public accounting firm and industry environment.
20. Strong technical expertise in US tax laws, regulations, and principles
21. US GAAP tax accounting
22. Terrific team spirit and a mindset
23. Solid analytical and research skills
24. Strong attention to details
25. Proficiency with mid to large ERP system; Oracle/Netsuite, Google Suite, Avatax a plus
26. English is a must, French a plus.
