We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong Abacus accounting software experience to support and lead an assignment focused on the transition of accounting and finance operations, including preparation for and/or migration to Abacus.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support accounting and finance activities using Abacus accounting software
* Configure and optimize Abacus modules (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, reporting, etc.)
* Translate accounting requirements into Abacus configurations and workflows
* Support data preparation, migration, testing, user acceptance, and go-live activities
* Act as a key finance subject matter expert during the transition to Abacus
* Provide expert guidance, best practices, and ongoing support to finance stakeholders
Qualifications
* Proven hands-on experience working with Abacus accounting software
* Strong background in accounting and financial processes
* Experience supporting ERP transitions, system migrations, or finance transformation projects
* Ability to work independently in a consulting or project-based environment
