What We're Looking For
To be successful at Medecision the Solution Engineer will understand what a customer centric organization entails and be able to infuse that ideology in your contributions. On any given day you will act as the technical expert that bridges the gap between sales, technology and understanding customer needs. You will work closely with sales, engineering and marketing to turn complex technical ideas into understandable and attractive solutions for our customers. This collaboration will include drafting and delivering presentations, demonstrating the features of the Aerial solution and creating customized software solutions for the customer.
The Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to demonstrate their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and successfully demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
This role requires an in-depth knowledge of our software and hardware systems, a passion for sales and high-level customer communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch solution engineer drives sales by creating specialized business solutions, tailor-made to the customer’s needs.

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
A Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts. This role focuses on partnering with clients and collaborating with internal team members and customer contacts to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions across the various Medecision product lines.
Solutions Engineers work on a wide array of assignments including business development, operations and IT strategies, as well as sales product demonstrations. This person must assume the role of trusted advisor for driving innovative solutions forward while also improving business performance.
"Solutioning" is fundamental to this role. It is important to realize that a component of the responsibilities will include assisting the customer, Account Executive and Customer Success team with the discovery, analysis and ultimately the recommendation of strategic solutions for the customer by delivering transformational pitches based in live product demonstrations to validate.
Customer Needs Analysis
Conduct thorough customer discovery calls to identify pain points, business goals, and technical requirements.
Take ambiguous and sophisticated business problems and using research and business assessment capabilities, define the problem, drive innovative ideas, define the opportunity set, and recommend practical next steps.
Product Demonstrations
Create compelling product demos showcasing how the solution solves customer problems.
Sales Support
Collaborate with sales teams to answer platform questions, address concerns, and provide expert advice during the sales process.
Prospect and engage with incoming leads to qualify, nurture and determine optimal solutions based on customer pain points and solution fit.
Bring focus to a client's decision making process by communicating and evaluating solution options, and driving consensus among key collaborators.
Proof Of Concept (POC)
Build and implement POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and value of the proposed solution.
Demonstrate through software demos and rapid prototyping how connected experiences come to life with Medecision Solutions.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of relevant technologies, including software, hardware, and cloud platforms
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to identify customer needs and design effective solutions
Systems analysis: Evaluating and integrating complex system components to develop cohesive and efficient technological solutions
Follow and comply with all security policies and procedures established by the organization, including adherence to HIPAA and HITRUST regulations
Education And Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the Healthtech software industry.
* Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
* Direct experience with working with prospects, uncovering problems to be solved and demonstrating product capabilities to match needs
* Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions that solve customer challenges.
* High-level experience with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Working knowledge with AI (such as ChatGPT, Gemini) and data analysis tools for day-to-day research and part of daily task completion
* Background in data analytics or business intelligence solutions.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong knowledge and ability to describe systems integration, APIs, and data workflows.
* Certification in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud DevOps, etc.) is highly desirable.
