Join us and be part of a vibrant company that embraces diverse perspectives, and is committed to doing well by doing good.Responsibilities & DeliverablesThe role is client-facing, with both existing and new clients, and requires a high level of technical expertise, problem management and investigative skills, as well as excellent communication skills.Responsible for the timely completion of multiple internal and external technical projects in accordance with specifications and budgeted scope.Assists in the implementation of FINASTRA software solutions. The Project Manager is a member of the project team and reports to the Head Project Management.Efficiently and accurately execute deployment and configuration activities for continued customer satisfaction and retention.Interact with stakeholders (customers, suppliers, management, project team members, portfolio staff and other stakeholders).Enforce corporate project standards and methodologies to minimize risks.Regular reporting of project progress to the Head of Projects.Lead the technical investigation of reported project issues, providing appropriate resolution where possible and/or detailed analysis to the dependent teamsAddress issues and provide knowledge of integration between project and support teams.Handover to the support team once the system is up and running and in a stable state.Problem solving of technical issues during the project.Record and resolve internal defects and product related issues with the product teams.Maintaining up-to-date documentation of procedures and system configuration.Reviewing existing onboarding procedures for customers and improving them as necessary to ensure effective service delivery.Support product managers and sales teams when additional expertise is requiredIdentify and mitigate project risks; escalate and resolve issues that impact project successEssential SkillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsOrganizational skills, self-starter, high level of self-motivation and quick thinking.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesProblem solving skills and strong technical backgroundEncourage cross-team collaborationPractical approachRequired Technical ExpertiseExperience in Financial services, banks, fintech, SWIFT, ISO 20022 standardsWorking knowledge of Red Hat Linux or equivalent and knowledge of scriptingWorking knowledge of JBoss and TomcatWorking knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Ingres and good in writing SQL queries for Oracle and/or IngresWorking knowledge of FTP / SFTP/ WebSphere MQ integrationRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree - Economics/Finance or equivalent experience.More than 5 years of experience in finance-related project teams, preferably with banks or financial institutionsDedicated, client-focused professional who can successfully plan and manage assigned projectsAbility to liaise directly with clients and manage projects individuallyAbility to work with minimal supervision, independentlyProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to build working relationships with colleagues and project membersAbility to meet deadlines and work effectively and independentlyBenefitsWe are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
