Your Purpose
CTL Maritime is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to join the Legal team at the Head Office in Geneva.
The successful candidate will support the legal workstream overseeing the development, operation and contractual lifecycle of managed port terminals and shore-side assets worldwide, as well as assist with corporate housekeeping for terminal-related entities and project SPVs.
This role is ideal for a junior lawyer at the early stage of their career who is eager to grow within a dynamic, international environment and gain exposure to infrastructure and commercial projects.
Your Impact
* Assist with corporate housekeeping for terminal-related entities and project SPVs, ensuring proper documentation and internal compliance.
* Conduct legal research on maritime, corporate and commercial topics, and summarize key findings.
* Support due diligence activities, governance processes and preparation of internal approval documentation.
* Assist with contract lifecycle management, including tracking obligations, deadlines, notices and amendments.
* Support the drafting and review of commercial agreements (e.g. NDAs, service agreements, amendments).
* Provide day-to-day legal support to internal stakeholders (Business Development, Finance, Procurement) under supervision.
* Coordinate with external counsel by organizing documentation and monitoring progress.
* Contribute to maintaining legal templates, files and internal documentation systems.

Your Journey so far
* Law degree; LLM or other post-graduate qualification is an advantage
* Bar admission is a plus but not mandatory
* 2/5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal team
* Exposure to corporate, commercial or contract law
* Any exposure to maritime, infrastructure, construction or PPP/concessions is an advantage
Your Essentials
* Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French) are an advantage
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail
* Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Solid command of MS Office and familiarity with legal research tools; knowledge of legal tech or AI tools is an advantage
