Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer, you will oversee commissioning in low‑to‑medium‑complexity projects, guide Associate Commissioning Engineers, and coordinate work, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective completion of commissioning activities in accordance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
* Commissioning and servicing of Automatic Voltage Regulators and Static Excitation Systems in power plants of all sizes, including installations with capacities up to 1000 MW. Conduct remote services and support to enhance solutions, perform network stability studies focusing on power plant stability and grid code compliance.
* Assist in continuous improvement of project design, participate in project review meetings, provide input on service activities, help create proposals for engineering projects or programs, and assist Contract Managers in issuing claims.
* Create work plans and cost estimates for various tasks, conduct risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning, and report potential risks and resolutions. Identify and recommend solutions to meet business and customer needs, providing relevant information accordingly.
* Provide information to contractors and colleagues; give feedback to the organization to apply lessons learned. Apply and improve processes and tools through automation and digitalization to ensure effective project delivery.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning for the power generation industry or as a power system engineer responsible for power system studies.
* Collaborative, solution‑focused approach and written and spoken communication skills in English (German advanced).
* Excitement and interest in digitalization of remote service concepts.
* In‑depth knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory and PSS/E), synchronous machines and excitation systems, and a profound understanding of control theory, data analysis, and information technology.
* Eagerness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—travel commitment up to 60%.
