Its contemporary setting and décor, with stunning views of Geneva, enhance the experience.Cercle du Rhône is looking to complete its culinary team with: Cook.Your mission:Your mission will consist of ensuring the production of dishes and providing quality service. You will actively participate in offering an exceptional culinary experience to our clients (restaurant, banquets, and cafeteria). You will manage a part of the kitchen (fish, meat, garnishes, and pantry), while guaranteeing impeccable quality and compliance with hygiene standards.Main activities:- Assist the section chefs in the preparation and plating of dishes in your section while following technical sheets and kitchen standards.- Coordinate services while respecting the requirements of the Head Chef.- Ensure the aesthetics of the plates and respect the deadlines during service.- Participate in setting up and cleaning your station.- Organize your workstation effectively, including mise en place and managing the needs.- Respect hygiene and safety rules and procedures in force in the restaurant and food safety standards.- Collaborate with the teams and dining room in a spirit of mutual support and progress.- Participate in goals regarding the quality and cost of products served by your section.- Be proactive in the continuous improvement of recipes, processes, and service.Profile:- You hold a vocational diploma (CFC) in cooking.- You have a successful experience of at least 5 years in a Geneva establishment.- You have already assisted or trained staff in extras or apprenticeships.- You are accustomed to collaborating with the dining room.- You are Swiss or hold a valid permit.Your skills:- You demonstrate organization and rigor in your work.- You are flexible.- You have a strong client focus: you adapt and respond to the requests of clients as well as those of the hierarchy.- You communicate respectfully even under pressure and possess good team spirit.Our offer:We offer you a motivating position in a privileged setting.
