Job Description Summary
This role coordinates and supports the main industrial projects related to Gas‑Insulated Switchgear (GIS) manufacturing in alignment with PT strategy, including footprint evolution, capacity and industrial equipment adaptation with the associated investment plan. It also drives the standardization of GIS manufacturing processes.
Essential Responsibilities
* Support units for manufacturing optimization and product strategy decisions, including footprint adaptation projects, capacity studies, Make or Buy Initiatives, Localization, Offshoring of parts, NPIs, Cost Out Initiatives, Design for Manufacturing, etc.
* Lead the CAPEX approval process for units dedicated to GIS products, ensuring alignment with PT strategy from preparation to execution.
* Lead the development and revision of existing manufacturing documents, coordinate deployment of standard processes, define training and coaching where necessary, and perform regular audits to identify deviations.
* Participate in Kaizen events to identify and implement further process standardizations.
* Build the industrial expert community for GIS to work as one team, share best practices, update standard documents, follow up on implementation of best practices, support technical challenges, assess skills and competences, and propose global development plans.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Master degree in engineering, manufacturing engineering from an accredited university or college.
* 10+ years experience in industrialization and manufacturing of GIS products.
* Location(s): open in Europe – APAC.
