As a member of the team, you will:
1. Play a key role in developing safe manufacturing processes
2. Be part of a diverse, global team carrying out critical and strategic projects
3. Liaise with partners to ensure timely study completion
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Providing knowledge and direction in process safety
2. Supporting Syngenta's new product development and pilot plant manufacturing
3. Contributing to novel technologies and approaches for flammability risks and controls
4. Providing process safety training and coaching to colleagues throughout the region

Qualifications
Extensive prior specialization in process safety is not essential, as you will be supported by a team of globally recognized technical experts. We require:
* MA degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; PhD is advantageous
* Ideally 3 years of experience in process development and organic chemistry
* Experience with Process Risk Assessment techniques (e.g., HAZOP) in batch chemical processing
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is an advantage
