Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of a German entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
About the Role
* You will handle bookkeeping, payroll, tax filings (VAT, corporate), and financial reporting for a German entity.
* Take full responsibility for the accounting operations of a German entity, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial closings.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage payroll and ensure accurate tax filings (VAT, corporate), strictly aligned with German accounting and tax regulations.
* Handle bookkeeping and financial reporting for a German entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in accounting, with strong expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance under German GAAP (HGB).
* Fluent in German and English, proficient in DATEV if possible, and Excel, and holds a degree in accounting or finance.
* Demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, autonomy, and strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage deadlines effectively.
