About the Role
This is a senior leadership role at the heart of NatureRe Capital’s growth. You will combine strategic financial leadership with hands‑on investment product design, contributing directly to our mission of investing in nature, restoring biodiversity, and removing carbon at scale.
Working closely with the CEO, board, investors, and cross‑functional teams, you will architect robust financial systems while designing scalable, best‑in‑class Assisted Natural Regeneration (“ANR”) investment products.
Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Leadership
Advise the CEO and board on strategic financial decisions, risks, and growth opportunities.
Oversee accounting, international consolidation, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Lead the company’s Series A round, investor relations, and ongoing reporting.
Oversee internal controls, governance structures, financial policies, and compliance frameworks.
B. Product Leadership, Investment Product Design
Act as the economic architect of NatureRe’s ANR investment products.
Own the design, structuring, and economics of all investment products, including bond/fixed‑income‑type products, funds, SPVs, blended finance structures, and long‑term carbon delivery contracts.
Develop standardized, scalable product templates applicable across geographies and project classes.
Collaborate closely with project development, restoration, operations, certification, and legal teams to translate ecological pathways into bankable financial structures.
Lead the go‑to‑market product process with the CEO and investor teams, covering positioning, investment decks, economics, comparables, and risk frameworks.

Experience
10+ years in corporate finance, investment structuring, FP&A, project finance, or CFO/VP Finance roles.
Demonstrated track record in designing, managing and bringing to market investment products such as bond/fixed‑income and other structured finance vehicles.
Proven ability to manage international, multi‑entity accounting consolidation and governance.
Strong command of financial modelling.
Background in nature‑based solutions, carbon markets, renewable energy, project finance, or impact investing is preferred.
Skills & Mindset
Hybrid mindset, equally strong in finance and product or business architecture.
Ability to design complex financial structures with clarity and simplicity.
Exceptional communicator, comfortable engaging investors, board members, regulators, and technical teams.
Ability to operate autonomously and decisively in a hybrid, fast‑moving setting.
