Key responsibilities of this role include designing, implementing, and optimizing APIs within a three-tier architecture for modern digitalization projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining the API catalog, ensuring professional API management.
This position also involves contributing to the development of processes and tools used in development, as well as managing the comprehensive integration platform MuleSoft.
To ensure stable operation, the ideal candidate will test, analyze errors, upgrade, and provide support in close collaboration with manufacturers.
Responsibilities
* API Design & Implementation: Develop new and optimize existing APIs within a three-tier architecture for modern digitalization projects.
* API Lifecycle Management: Responsible for conceptualization, development, and maintenance of the API catalog, ensuring professional API management.
* Tool and Process Optimization: Actively contribute to the development of processes and tools used in development.
* MuleSoft Integration: Manage the comprehensive integration platform MuleSoft.
* System Reliability: Ensure stable operation through testing, error analysis, upgrades, and support in close collaboration with manufacturers.
Qualifications and Skills
* Education: Advanced degree in business informatics (FH or university).
* Integration Expertise: Experience with API and integration platforms.
* Strong Java Skills: Proficiency in Java and common design patterns.
* Familiarity with REST, SOAP, IBM MQ, and JMS: Knowledge of these technologies is required.
* Experience with relational databases: The ideal candidate should have experience working with relational databases.
* Knowledge of OpenShift or Kubernetes: Preferably in the banking environment.
* Optional: Experience with Avaloq and its data model.
