On behalf of one of our clients, a global leader in industrial engineering, we are looking for a Customer support engineer to join its R&D department. In this role, you will act as a key technical expert, ensuring the validation, optimization, and reliability of advanced electrical solutions for industrial equipment. You’ll contribute to both new product launches and the continuous improvement of existing systems.
Ensure proper functionality of technical solutions during production, at subcontractor sites, or directly on customer premises
Perform validation and verification of electrical systems developed by the engineering teams
Create commissioning documents based on R&D specifications
Develop simulation tools for product commissioning and troubleshooting
Provide hands-on support to production teams, ensuring quality and performance
Analyse and resolve technical issues, potentially involving customer site visits
Act as a reference for technical support and complex troubleshooting
Profile required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Computer Science
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar technical role
Strong track record in hands-on support and problem-solving in the field
Proactive, flexible, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with object-oriented programming (ideally Delphi or C++)
Willingness to travel internationally (20% to 40%)
Fluent in English and French
