This appeals to you
* Conception and development of complex FPGA designs (VHDL) and embedded software with C++ on real-time operating systems
* Contributing to firmware architecture, specification, and implementation of real-time software for laser tracker and scanner systems
* Design and implementation of unit and integration tests
* Participation in the agile development process within interdisciplinary Hexagon project teams, with occasional travel to other locations
This is you
* Completed degree in electronics (ETH, FH, or TU)
* Excellent VHDL design, programming, and debugging skills
* Experience in developing embedded software with C++ for real-time applications
* In-depth microprocessor programming experience
* Independent and methodically structured working style, especially in C, C++, and VHDL programming
* Fluent English (spoken and written); German is strongly preferred
* Goal-oriented, open-minded, and creative personality with enthusiasm for practical activities
* Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
* Experience with Matlab or Python in development processes and converting FPGA code from these tools
* Experience with Intel FPGA, Quartus, and Qsys is advantageous
* Knowledge of image processing and real-time algorithms, particularly in metrology applications
