The role combines technical authority, people leadership and strategic direction, ensuring that production engineering capabilities support both current operational excellence and future business needs. The position involves work across 2 manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary). /li liPartner closely with RD to embed Design for Excellence (DfX) principles into new product designs. /li liLead the industrialisation and transfer of new products into volume production. /li liDrive continuous improvement to enhance yield, quality, cost and robustness of existing products. /li liEnsure availability, reliability and safety of all production equipment and automation systems. /li liDevelop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies aligned with business needs. /li liDefine and deliver the automation roadmap to improve yield, throughput and capacity. /li liIntroduce new automation technologies and optimise existing systems for scalable growth. /li liLead cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve production issues. /li liDrive structured root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce time, cost and variability. /li liOversee development and upkeep of production test solutions, including custom jigs and LabVIEW‑based software, ensuring accuracy, repeatability and long‑term maintainability. /li liAct as a key interface between Engineering, Operations, RD, Quality and global functions. /li liBuild strong, trust‑based relationships with internal and external stakeholders. /li liRepresent Production Engineering in senior forums and contribute to site and business strategy. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liTechnical higher education. /li liExtensive experience in production or manufacturing engineering within high‑volume, high‑technology environments. /li liSignificant experience in senior manufacturing or production engineering leadership roles. /li liTrack record of successfully introducing new technologies and processes in fast‑paced environments. /li liStrong understanding of process engineering, automation systems and maintenance best practices. /li liBroad engineering knowledge across systems, electronic and mechanical engineering, including production test solutions. /li liSolid practical experience with lean manufacturing, defect reduction and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma). /li liProven experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams. /li liDemonstrated ability to inspire, influence and align stakeholders at all levels. /li liStrong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on problem solving and data‑driven decision making. /li liFluent in Polish and English. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liQuarterly and annual bonus scheme. /li liCo‑financed Sports Packages (Medicover Sport). /li liExtra day off (Company day). /li /ul h3About HUBER+SUHNER Polatis /h3 pOur aim is to be the employer of choice and as such you can be assured of a market‑leading remuneration package that matches your skills and experience.
