Position Overview
The company is establishing a new watch manufacturing operation in Switzerland. The General Manager will lead the setup of the company and factory from the ground up, including company formation, factory establishment, team recruitment, operational setup, and management of Swiss clients.
Key Responsibilities
Establish the legal and administrative structure of the company in Switzerland.
Set up the manufacturing facility including equipment sourcing, layout planning, and production workflow.
Recruit and build the local engineering, technical, and administrative team.
Implement quality systems and operational processes.
Maintain relationships with existing Swiss clients and coordinate production requirements.
Develop new business opportunities within the Swiss and European watch industry.
Oversee daily operations including cost control, production efficiency, and delivery performance.
Report operational and financial performance to shareholders.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience in watchmaking, precision engineering, or related manufacturing industry.
Experience in factory setup, operations management, or senior leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of the Swiss watch industry ecosystem.
Leadership capability to build and manage teams.

Reporting Line
The General Manager reports directly to the shareholders or board of directors.
