We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Sales team in Switzerland.
You will oversee customer acquisition across the Switzerland region, maximize sales opportunities within assigned accounts, develop productive relationships with key personnel, and analyze market potential.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop new accounts.
2. Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients across all BioPharma markets.
3. Build an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, industry, strategic direction, and competitors.
4. Develop strategic, value-added partnerships with customers by working with key decision-makers and influencers to address long-term issues and solutions.
5. Gain understanding of WC's capabilities and service offerings relevant to the customer.
6. Manage marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and seminars.
7. Identify, qualify, and prioritize potential opportunities.
8. Coordinate with regional WC teams to identify service opportunities.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop customer solutions.
10. Deliver high-value, strategic solutions.
11. Proactively monitor and improve quality metrics and customer satisfaction.
12. Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
13. Manage sales pipeline and KPIs; foster relationship management.
Requirements:
1. Languages: Fluent in English (essential), German and/or French (essential).
2. 1-2 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or account management. Interns aspiring to grow in the field or first-time BDE applicants are welcome.
3. Experience in logistics/transport and/or pharmaceutical/life sciences industries is desirable.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Strong customer orientation, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
