Position Overview
The Front / Back Office Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while keeping clinic operations running smoothly. You’ll manage front office responsibilities and receive comprehensive training to assist with basic back-office clinical tasks.
Front Office Responsibilities
* Welcome patients and manage check‑in and check‑out
* Verify insurance, demographics, and collect co‑pays
* Schedule appointments and procedures using NextGen
* Answer and route phone calls professionally
* Prepare daily deposits and end‑of‑day reports
* Confirm upcoming appointments
Back Office Support — We Train You!
* Room patients and take vital signs
* Assist providers and clinical staff as needed
* Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications
Preferred (but not required)
* Prior healthcare or medical office experience
* EMR experience (Athena preferred)
* Basic medical terminology
Required
* High School Diploma or GED
* Strong communication and computer skills
* Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
No clinical experience? No problem — we provide full training!
Schedule & Work Environment
* Full‑time, Monday–Friday
* Shifts: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Outpatient medical office
