About the Team The Software Engineering Team at bloomie is at the forefront of developing robust and scalable applications, focusing on delivering high-quality user experiences and efficient system performance. The role is primarily based in our Unterengstringen office, where close collaboration and knowledge sharing are integral to our daily operations. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities Actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of new features and functionalities within the frontend architecture. Participate in the coordination of frontend development tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to established coding standards and best practices. Research and evaluate emerging frontend technologies and methodologies, proposing recommendations for their strategic adoption to enhance system capabilities. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technical solutions with business requirements. Ensure the overall quality, performance, and maintainability of the frontend codebase through rigorous testing and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team, sharing insights and expertise to foster a culture of continuous learning and collective growth. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing application performance and ensuring system stability. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated experience in frontend software development, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing proficiency in modern web technologies. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable and maintainable applications. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience with TypeScript and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite). Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications. Understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate design mockups into functional user interfaces. Prior experience contributing to open-source projects or internal tooling development.
