A large international organisation within the distribution sector is looking for a Senior IT Business Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Supply Chain) to join its in‑house Digital & Technology team in Switzerland.
This is a hands‑on, business‑facing role within a multi‑country D365 F&O rollout, focused on supply chain, logistics, and warehousing processes. You will act as the link between business operations and IT, owning requirements, process design, and functional delivery — not a pure consulting or technical role.
You’ll remain closely involved beyond go‑live, driving optimisation and long‑term process improvement across multiple entities.
Key responsibilities
Own the D365 F&O Supply Chain functional domain
Act as IT Business Consultant / Business Systems Analyst
Gather and translate business requirements into D365 solutions
Lead AS‑IS / TO‑BE design and gap analysis
Coordinate configuration, testing, and rollout activities
Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and delivery partners
Support go‑live and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365 F&O
Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, or Operations
Experience in ERP implementations or rollouts
Comfortable bridging business and IT
Experience in multi‑country ERP environments
Fluent German and English
Willing to work hybrid on‑site in Switzerland (Zug / Zurich area)
