* Lead the preparation and assembly of all cold kitchen items (salads, cold cuts, appetizers, and desserts).
* Ensure all cold chain protocols are strictly followed to maintain food safety and quality.
* Supervise and train Commis de Cuisine and Kitchen Helpers in cold food preparation and intricate plating techniques.
* Ensure all food items are stored correctly and rotated according to food safety standards (FIFO).
* Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
* Strictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
* Support the team in minimizing waste and maintaining maximum kitchen efficiency.
* Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in developing and testing new recipes.
* Monitor inventory levels for fresh produce and cold kitchen supplies.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie for our Cold Kitchen, starting 10.06.2026. This role is essential for delivering fresh, high-quality cold meals, salads, and appetizers to our airline clients. You will lead your section to ensure meticulous preparation and plating within a fast-paced production environment.

Annual gross salary: CHF 60,000–66,000 (including 13th month), negotiable depending on experience.

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Commis (2+ years) in a cold kitchen; airline catering experience is a plus.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail for high-standard plating.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, temperature control and sanitation regulations. (HACCP)
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage a team under pressure.
• Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work different shifts (early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
