Your Role
As a risk management generalist at PwC, you will offer advisory and practical support across various specialist risk and compliance areas.

Join our Financial Risk Management (FRM) team, part of the leading Swiss firm providing advisory and audit services to banks and insurance companies of all sizes and regulatory categories. We bring extensive expertise in retail, universal, private, and international banking, tackling complex regulatory and quantitative challenges with effective financial risk modeling solutions. Our work includes developing, implementing, and validating models for credit, market, liquidity, and counterparty risk, ensuring compliance and strategic value. Joining us means mastering regulatory landscapes and making a significant impact on the financial industry.

Your Impact
* Assist clients in developing, enhancing, and reviewing financial risk models using advanced technology to manage risks, evaluate market opportunities, and generate business benefits.
* Evaluate client frameworks for model development and risk management across credit, market, and trading risks.
* Support banks in complying with regulatory requirements such as Basel, FINMA, and others.
* Analyze data, identify risk factors, create prototypes, interpret results, and support clients in implementing recommendations to add value.
* Explore applications of machine learning in financial risk management to improve predictive accuracy and efficiency.
* Navigate and implement regulatory requirements related to emerging topics like cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
* Communicate complex quantitative and analytical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
* Link sophisticated modeling techniques with strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, international environment.
* Engage in project work and knowledge exchange with colleagues, continuously developing methodological and consultancy skills.
* Enjoy solving challenging problems and contributing to innovative financial risk solutions.
Your Skills
* Possess or be near completion of an advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, economics, or finance.
* 1-3 years of relevant experience in quantitative risk analysis or modeling, preferably from consulting or internal strategy roles.
* Experience in credit risk monitoring, control, or familiarity with capital requirements is a plus.
* Meticulous work habits and a keen eye for detail.
* Innovative mindset with the ability to contribute to fast-paced projects.
* Proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis and modeling.
* Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
* Strong team collaboration skills.
* Fluent in English and either French or German.
Minimum Experience Required
1-3 years in relevant financial risk management or consulting roles.
