As a member of the field salesteam, you will be responsible for the sales area of north-western and central Switzerland. This includes providing competent support to existing customers and acquiring new customers. In addition to working from home, you will be responsible for selling the entire range of our product portfolio in the field of ABB measurement technology, mainly at the customer's premises. Your main tasks include:
As a member of an expert salesteam, you will take responsibility for your sales territory in north-western and central Switzerland. You will not only inspire our existing customers, but also new customers.
Thanks to your experience in the sale of measuring devices, you have learned not only negotiating skills but also how to present products to customers in all industries perfectly.
Together with the internal salesteam, you will process inquiries, prepare quotations and concepts through to order placement by the customer.
You will look after your customers by regularly attending appointments at the customer's premises or via teams and on exhibitions. Additionally, you will advise the customer on technology in all industries, offer conditions and commercial matters (pricing).
Qualifications for the role Successful degree as an engineer (or technician) in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable field.
At least two years of experience in sales of measurement technology. (Alternatively: technical experience in B2B automation and electrical engineering)
Fluent written and spoken German and English (French is an advantage)
Personally, you convince us with your presentation skills as well as your analytical skills, which enable you to grasp technical issues well and develop solutions from them.
You describe yourself as a sales-oriented, collegial personality and are good at approaching other people.
