We are looking for a motivated and pragmatic personality with a background in
measurement and testing technology
– ideally with a degree in engineering or a comparable qualification. You are interested in the development of test systems and already have experience in metrology and software development. Ideally, you also have experience in leading projects.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the creation of requirements for new test systems
* Support the development of concepts and software design
* Prepare specifications based on requirements and concepts
* Participate in projects for the development of software for test systems
* Assist in the preparation of cost and time estimates
* Implement software, testing, and documentation of systems in SAP
* Support qualification and validation activities
* Handover to users, including training
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Lead sub-projects and small projects, including project planning and team leadership
Must-Haves:
* University or technical college degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation, or related fields
* Experience in developing measurement setups or test systems
* Minimum 3 years of experience in software development – ideally with NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW, high-level languages (C#, C++, Python), experience in object-oriented programming and debugging
* Experience in measurement and testing technology, as well as a solid technical understanding of physical parameters in optics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, etc.
* Experience in project management within a technical environment
* Structured approach, ability to work independently, and quick comprehension
* Strong communication and assertiveness skills, with smooth interaction across interfaces and partners. Responsible and reliable working style, team-oriented and communicative
* Excellent German skills and English skills
Nice-to-Haves:
* Practical experience with hardware, electronics (troubleshooting, circuit analysis, wiring)
* Experience in medical or regulated environments
* Experience in team-based software development (source code management and parallel development)
