Operations and Administration Support Specialist
Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused professional to be the main contact for our service vans and support the Logistics and Operations team in their daily tasks. You thrive on details, communicate with ease, and know how to keep multiple tasks moving at once. Your background includes a couple of years in operations, purchasing, sales, or logistics, ideally within the bike or sports world, and you bring a practical, people-first approach to every challenge.
Main Tasks Logistics
Sorting EU Logistics inbox incl. prioritization of tasks by given color flags
Execute Product Transfers
Communicate Shipping instructions to external vendors / Century
Forwarding shipping docs where needed and file docs away
Monitor shipping errors
Monitor and annual update of CE Declarations of Conformity
Main Tasks for Operations
Monitor Data Accuracy in Oracle ERP system
Analyze and review existing cost data to ensure system accuracy. Monitor missing or wrong pricing
Backup for maintenance of price lists
Requirements
People-oriented and ideally commercial education with a min. of 2 years’ experience in operation, purchasing, sales or logistics in the bike or sports industry
Great social, communication and networking skills
Good business understanding as well as good analytical and planning skills
Responsible, dedicated and pro-active person with ability to stay calm and patience even in hectic times
Very good communication skills English (German and additional languages are a plus) with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
Good IT user knowledge (MS Office, especially Excel and ERP systems like Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or SAP). Numbers driven professional with Excel experience is a plus.
Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
EU work permit (Czech office) or Swiss work permit (CH office)
