For one of our clients, an Audit and Advisory firm based in Geneva and Lausanne, we are looking for an
AUDIT MANAGER
Job description
1. Manage a portfolio of national and international clients
2. Lead and coordinate audit engagements, with a strong focus on IFRS standards
3. Supervise the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements under Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS
4. Handle complex and judgmental accounting topics
5. Plan and organise audit missions (risk assessment, budgeting, timelines, quality control)
6. Lead special audit assignments (e.g. capital increases, company formations, specific mandates)
7. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and financial reporting matters
8. Ensure high-quality service delivery and maintain strong client relationships
9. Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the year
10. Supervise, coach and develop junior team members
11. Contribute to the growth and development of the audit practice
12. Promote internal methodologies, tools and best practices
Required profile
13. Swiss Certified Audit Expert (or equivalent)
14. 6 to 10 years of experience in external audit, including initial managerial exposure
15. Strong expertise in IFRS, with good knowledge of Swiss CO and/or Swiss GAAP FER
16. Proven experience auditing consolidated financial statements
17. Ability to analyse and challenge complex accounting issues independently
18. Experience managing international clients and multiple audit engagements
19. Strong leadership and team management skills
20. Excellent analytical, organisational and communication abilities
21. Fluent in French with a professional level of English
22. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data analytics tools is a plus
23. Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment
