Job Description
You are a technical lead and manager for a team of data engineers responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence services.
You will oversee daily operations, including incident prioritization and resolution, and own operational KPIs for business intelligence.
You will engage with relevant stakeholders to define solutions aligned with overall architecture and IT strategy, in collaboration with the architecture team.
You will enhance data quality, data governance, and data processes using existing or new solutions.
You will foster the data community through forums to develop standards and best practices based on community needs around data management.
You will maintain and improve Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models for the enterprise and own the data architecture.
You will evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on their adoption.
Qualifications
MS in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders up to C-suite level. Proficiency in German or French is a plus.
Strong business orientation, preferably with experience in energy, trading, finance, or risk sectors.
Experience in developing and implementing enterprise BI or Data & Analytics strategies.
Over 10 years of technical leadership experience in data & analytics or related IT domains, with proven team leadership skills.
More than 10 years of experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance.
Over 5 years of experience in data engineering, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Angular, or Java.
At least 2 years of experience with business intelligence solutions like Snowflake, Data Vault, MS Power BI, SAP Hana, SAP BO, SAP Data Services, Fivetran, DBT.
Minimum of 2 years in project management, agile methodologies, strategy development, networking, and stakeholder management.
Experience working with AWS cloud services.
