About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to manage the financial operations of SCRYPT Digital Trading AG in Switzerland. The ideal candidate willbe responsible forfinancial reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls, ensuring adherence to Swiss financial regulations and best practices.
This role requires strongexpertisein financial operations, experience with digital assets or financial markets, and familiarity with Swiss regulatory frameworks. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving financial efficiency, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations, and providing insights to support business growth.
Key responsibilities
* Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and reconciliations in compliance with Swiss regulations
* Work closely with external accounting firms and auditors to maintain accurate financial records
* Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and financial forecasting to ensure operational efficiency
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
* Ensure compliance with Swiss financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting obligations
* Prepare and submit regulatory reports to FINMA and other relevant authorities
* Monitor AML and financial risk management processes, working closely with compliance teams
* Stay up to date with Swiss tax and financial regulations, ensuring adherence to evolving requirements
* Work with the executive team to assess the financial impact of new products, partnerships, and market expansions; provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
* Optimise financial workflows and implement best practices to improve efficiency; assist in developing cost-control strategies, budget planning, and investment allocations
* Develop and maintain internal financial controls to mitigate risks
* Implement financial governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
Job requirements
* 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management
* Strong knowledge of Swiss financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
* Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, Excel, CRM systems, and market research
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Experience in the crypto, fintech, or financial services industry is a plus
* Familiarity with Swiss tax structuring and international financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
* Knowledge of risk management, treasury, or investment planning and professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are a plus
