Resident Doctor – Oncology Location: London | Facility: Leaders in Oncology Care, Harley St. Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time Shifts: Monday - Friday: operational hours mostly 8‑6pm or 10‑8pm. About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor in Oncology to join the expert medical team at LOC, Leaders in Oncology Care, part of the HCA Healthcare UK network. In this pivotal role, you’ll work within a specialist oncology service and collaborate closely with world‑class consultants, oncology nurses, and multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, patient‑centred care. What You’ll Do Provide medical cover to the outpatient chemotherapy day unit. Check outpatient prescriptions and protocols, approve medication, and establish relationships with outpatients and world‑renowned experts. Work within a team of oncology specialists to develop personalised private patient treatment plans tailored to individual needs and diagnoses. Deliver an integrative approach to cancer care that supports patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the outpatient setting. As the specialist doctor on shift, medically assess patients receiving chemotherapy and manage any emergencies with guidance from the consultant in charge. What You’ll Bring Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practise in the UK. Completion of Foundation Training and a minimum of IM2‑4 / Core Medical Training (CM2‑4) or equivalent experience. Full MRCP qualification. Proven experience (minimum 4 years) managing oncology patients across haematology and solid tumour cases.
