Storage Presales Consultant – Switzerland

We are expanding our Storage sales force in Switzerland and looking for a Storage Presales Consultant who can challenge customers’ technical approaches, translate requirements into solutions, and collaborate with Storage Specialists and Account Managers to open and win new accounts.
Responsibilities
* Engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, assess their current infrastructure, and position HPE Data solutions in alignment with the customer’s hybrid cloud and digitization strategy.
* Deliver compelling presentations and demos addressing specific customer pain points, linking the technical features of our solutions with tangible benefits.
* Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and channel partners – acting as a trusted advisor guiding them on products and solutions, highlighting alternatives and possible shortcomings.
* Collaborate with account teams both at HPE and Channel Partners to pursue opportunities, respond to tenders, develop strategies to counter competitive threats, and design and size solutions.
Qualifications
* Technical bachelor’s degree.
* 3–5 years of experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting.
* Sales‑oriented technology professional who can combine deep technical skills with good business acumen to motivate customers on a transformational journey.
* Initiative‑driven, startup mindset – able to work autonomously, experiment, and adapt quickly in a fast‑evolving environment.
* Profound expertise in Storage and Data Services.
* Knowledge of adjacent technologies such as virtualization, networking, public cloud and industry certifications (e.g., HPE, VMware, Veeam, Azure, AWS) is a plus.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills – fluent in German and good proficiency in English.
