About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Systems Manager to oversee the entire IT systems infrastructure of a well-established Swiss financial institution. You will be responsible for the performance, stability, and security of both on-prem and cloud-based environments, while supporting internal users and aligning IT with business continuity needs.
Your Core Responsibilities
* Ensure smooth and secure operation of critical systems including:
o VMware vSphere
o Red Hat Linux & Windows Server environments
o Active Directory & Hyperconverged infrastructure
o Microsoft Azure (local integration)
o Backup technologies (Veeam or equivalent)
o DevSecOps & IT resilience systems
* Deliver 1st and 2nd level support to internal users
* Maintain system documentation and business continuity plans
* Lead regular IT recovery and incident response exercises
* Act as a key contributor to IT transformation projects
Your Profile
* Degree in IT Engineering or equivalent, specialized in Systems Infrastructure
* 6+ years' experience in Systems Management, ideally in Swiss banking
* Certified in VMware vSphere, Veeam, Windows Server, or Red Hat Linux
* Hands-on expertise in managing virtualized & secure environments
* Familiar with ITIL and service-oriented support models
* Strong grasp of cybersecurity, risk management, and BCP strategies
* Fluent in French and English
* Swiss residency is a must
* Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills
