As part of the Eaton Finance Transformation Strategy, SAS (Specialist Accounting Solutions) structures are being created to deliver centralized accounting activities across the region, covering all EMEA businesses and divisions.
The EMEA Statutory and Tax SAS will handle all statutory financial statements and audits, transitioning from a decentralized to a fully centralized model. This role reports to the SAS lead and collaborates with Eaton colleagues at centralized locations to standardize and implement the new audit structure.
What You’ll Do
This role requires a 24-month commitment, initially focusing on establishing processes and delivering centralized audits for specific balance sheet categories for the year-end 2024 audits. The role also involves ensuring the robustness and repeatability of the structure for future years.
* Implement the new centralized audit structure with Eaton colleagues
* Standardize knowledge transfer and documentation
* Establish standard processes for each balance sheet category in line with the EY playbook
* Align with EY and EMEA partners on the new model setup
* Define clear roles and responsibilities between teams
* Develop processes for handling EY audit queries
* Oversee the structure’s performance, identify lessons learned, and resolve issues
Qualifications
* Finance or equivalent degree or professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
* 7-10 years of experience in financial processes and statutory/audit knowledge
Skills
* Experience in standardization and process improvement
* Multinational and multicultural experience
* Excellent English skills
* Knowledge of Oracle/SAP systems
* Digital and IT tools proficiency
* Strong communication, influencing, and change management skills
* Proactive, independent, and agile mindset
