Program
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Quantitative Risk Modelling Summer Internship Program.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain various models (ex banking and trading, counterparty credit risk exposure) according to regulatory and business requirements
* Develop prototype codes and testing tools that will be used in various productive systems
* Collaborate with quantitative analysts to share insights and develop global analysis frameworks
* Work closely with cross-functional team members to improve our digital products
Team
You’ll be working in alongside the UBS Quantitative Risk Modelling (QRM) team in Zurich. Our team develops, refines, implements and maintains mathematical, statistical and risk model frameworks. As the firm is in the business of risk intermediation, we buy and sell financial risks across the globe and across time.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in studies and will graduate in late 2026 or 2027
* Gained relevant skills in quantitative analysis and statistical models through courses, projects or work experience and has data analytics and programming skills (i.e., R, Python, SQL, VBA, SAS, Excel knowledge, C++ and Java are a plus)
* Values that align with ours hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
* Strategic thinker with strong communication skills
* Motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
