Senior Java Back-end Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Back-end Developer to support an important client in the banking and digital domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Java backend applications (JPA, Hibernate) in a SAFe Agile environment, with a focus on CRM and database migration (PL/SQL);
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, ensure software quality, and drive continuous improvement;
• Contribute to architectural alignment and technical best practices within the development community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 5 years of experience in backend development in enterprise contexts;
• Java 11+ (up to JDK 21), with excellent command of Stream, Lambda, Try-with-resources;
• Strong Experience with ORM (Hibernate, JPA);
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), including stored procedures;
• PL/SQL fundamentals;
• Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).

This role values nice-to-have expertise in Camunda BPM, cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise CRM, end-to-end testing (Selenium/Tosca) and DevOps tooling (Docker, APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace).
