Job Description:
Join our team as a Quality Analyst, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring excellence in our operations. Responsibilities include ensuring quality data and driving data-driven decision-making. You'll develop and manage reporting tools, lead improvement projects, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our quality systems and standards. Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting Tools Development
* Extract, analyze and synthesize quality data from multiple operation systems (ERP, QMS software, etc.) across international manufacturing sites.
* Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel, QMS) to track corporate KPIs and support strategic decision-making.
* Lead monthly reporting cycles, providing insights to corporate and site teams to improve performance and reduce quality issues.
* Support ERP implementation with a focus on quality data structures and reporting capabilities.
* Promote data integrity and harmonization across all systems and facilities.
Quality Process Execution and Continuous Improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient execution of quality workflows and quality-related business processes, investigate causes of process deviations, develop and implement more effective solutions.
* Identify opportunities for process optimization through digitalization, automation, and advanced analytics.
Quality Project Management
* Lead global and multi-site Quality Systems related projects and participate in global and site-level quality improvement projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure progress, engagement, and alignment.
* Communicate project milestones and results clearly to different levels of the organization, from shop floor to senior leadership.
* Contribute to the preparation of regular progress and activity reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Quality Standards and Training
* Collaborate with senior management and subject matter experts to establish and refine quality standards, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
* Support internal and external audits by providing accurate data, reporting tools, and documentation.
* Contribute to the development of fitting competencies of operations personnel. Develop training course content for Quality policies, and -standards driving a common culture of continued quality excellence.
* Oversee administration of the Quality Management System.
Qualifications/Requirements
* A Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/ Food Chemistry, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality management in the food and beverage industry or in related industries.
* Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI), Excel, and QMS platforms.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and data structures, ideally with implementation experience.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Passion for digital tools and curiosity to explore new solutions.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to travel (up to 25%)
* The position requires the individual to work at our Lucerne, Switzerland office.
