Alpes Lasers SA is a Swiss high-tech company specialized in the development and fabrication of advanced infrared light sources, including Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCLs). We work at the intersection of photonics, micro-technology, and R&D, supporting customers in spectroscopy, medical, industrial and defence applications.
Your Mission
You will play a key operational role in Finance & Controlling and support the CEO in building a solid and modern finance function.
You enjoy working both hands-on in daily finance tasks and contributing to the improvement of tools, processes and reporting.
Your Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly P&L, cash-flow statements and management reports.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
* Develop Excel-based dashboards and KPI tools to support decision-making.
* Support the follow-up of EU- and Swiss-funded R&D projects.
* Contribute to internal control processes and audit preparation.
* Work closely with production, R&D and sales teams to analyse costs, margins and business cases.
Your Profile
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
* 5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance or Accounting.
* Very good command of Excel (pivot tables, dashboards).
* Strong analytical, structured and reliable way of working.
* Ability to communicate clearly with non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience with Odoo or other ERPs is a plus.
* Fluent in French and English.
* Only candidates already established in Switzerland (B/C permit or Swiss/EU citizens) will be considered. Familiarity with IFRS/US-GAAP is a plus.
