This exciting 12-month contract offers the opportunity to ensure that products and processes meet key environmental and material compliance standards while contributing to the organisation’s sustainability and regulatory excellence. Product Compliance Expert
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you take ownership of assigned product compliance profiles and regulations such as RoHS, REACH, SCIP, POP, Conflict Minerals, WEEE, and PFAS. You monitor and analyse evolving product-related regulations in material and environmental compliance, conduct impact assessments, implement compliance requirements, and prepare the necessary documentation. You support the Material Compliance category in radar, covering chemical legislation, substance restrictions, and EU REACH reporting. You act as the responsible contact for the Environmental Compliance category in radar and manage data and campaigns within the Source Intelligence system. You handle product compliance-related customer inquiries and support case resolution for your assigned regulations. You also contribute to defining, maintaining, and improving the Group Product Compliance framework, processes, templates, and guidelines. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product compliance governance and transparent reporting across the organisation.
YOUR PROFILE You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Natural Sciences. You bring 5–8 years of professional experience in Product or Material Compliance, ideally covering EU REACH, SCIP Reporting, and RoHS. You also have 1–2 years of industry experience in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE). You have strong technical and analytical skills with a high affinity for IT systems such as MS Office, SharePoint, and SAP. You are confident working with data management tools and databases, including Source Intelligence. You are fluent or business proficient in English (C1–C2) and have very good conversational skills in German (B2–C1).
