Project : We are seeking an experienced Quant Developer (R Expert) to support the migration of risk analytics and data processes to a new target architecture. This role requires strong technical leadership in R, deep understanding of risk systems, and hands-on experience with large-scale data reconciliation and cloud-based deployments. The successful candidate will work closely with Risk and IT teams to ensure a seamless transition from legacy platforms.
Tasks :
1. Act as R expert and tech lead for the migration of the in-house R-Framework from existing platforms to a modernised architecture.
2. Reconcile large datasets across systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
3. Adapt the R-Framework to fully leverage REST APIs and JSON structures for improved integration and performance.
4. Support development and deployment workflows using Git, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
5. Guide best practices for R development in cloud environments.
6. Collaborate with Risk stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity and high code quality.
Requirements :
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Quant Developer in a risk or financial environment.
3. Strong R development skills, including frameworks, packages, and APIs.
4. Experience with Python and cloud-based architectures.
5. Strong knowledge of CI / CD tools: Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
6. Nice to have: Experience with Linux and Docker.
7. Nice to have: Experience managing, processing, and reconciling large datasets.
