PpHigh impact position in Mental Health Startup | Join a mission-driven team | Passion needed | 100% only | Based in Zurich /p pbWhy we do what we do /b /p pThe mind is our window to the world. It paints the outside in grey or bright colors. We therefore believe that a person finding access to that window has the opportunity to change their perspective of the world every single day and psychological hurdles can turn into opportunities to grow. Happiness can spread from individual to individual across society – into a revolution, one mind at a time. /p pbWho we are /b /p pThe mission we have inspires us and challenges us at the same time. It is work in which skills, thoughts and ideas are poured into a product influencing thousands of souls and hearts. And with that, comes great responsibility. It requires passion for the work we do, a high level of integrity and the willingness to try things no one has tried before. /p pbA team full of people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world they live in. /b /p pYes, we are a hardworking team, but not for us alone, not for money or personal fame, but for the people we serve at the center of our efforts: Our team, clients, psychologists on our platform and supporters across the country. /p h3Tasks /h3 pbWhat you will work on /b /p pWe are a mission-driven startup, with people at the center, technology as an enabler, and strong growth ahead. Design at Aepsy is not decoration. It is a core lever to improve access to mental healthcare in Switzerland. /p pYou will work closely with the CDO (Chief Design Officer). This means real responsibility, real impact, and real trust. More concretely, you will: /p ul libLead meaningful design discovery /bbr/You go deep into problems before jumping to solutions. Through research, conversations, data, and observation, you uncover real user needs, challenge assumptions, and turn insights into clear, actionable problem statements. /li libDesign the right solutions /bbr/You translate complexity into simple, in-depth, and effective experiences. You structure flows, interactions, and concepts that balance clients’ value, business goals, and technical constraints, always solving the right problem, not just the visible one. /li libOwn work end to end /bbr/You take responsibility from early thinking to delivery and iteration. You move projects forward independently, align stakeholders when needed, and care about outcomes, not just what was designed, but what actually works. /li libCreate structure in a growing environment /bbr/You bring clarity where things are still forming. You document decisions, improve ways of working, and handle small or unglamorous tasks with maturity, always looking for better systems, not excuses. /li libCraft calm, trustworthy interfaces /bbr/You execute clean, thoughtful UI that feels clear and reassuring. You work with and evolve design systems and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure high-quality, well-implemented outcomes. /li /ul pThis role will grow with you. Based on your strengths and interests, we will continuously shape the scope together. /p h3Requirements /h3 pbKey things we are looking for /b /p ul liYou have a bstrong sense for product thinking and UX /b, demonstrated through shipped work, real projects, or a portfolio that shows depth beyond visuals. /li liYou naturally try to understand why something exists before jumping to solutions. /li liYou ask questions, listen carefully, and are not satisfied with surface-level answers. /li liYou can execute independently, and reliably so people can trust that things move forward when you own them. /li liYou are organized, structured, and comfortable managing multiple topics without chaos. /li /ul pWhen you hear about Aepsy’s mission, something clicks. /p pThis is not “just another product”. It’s a chance to help reshape how mental healthcare works in Switzerland, with care, dignity, and depth. /p pbIn a nutshell /b /p ul liYou believe that bdesign is a tool to improve real lives /b. /li liYou enjoy going deep: into problems, people, systems, and yourself. /li liYou have experience (or clear proof through work) that you can turn complexity into clarity. /li liYou are fluent in bFigma /b and comfortable collaborating with engineers. /li liYou are fluent in bEnglish /b (spoken and written). /li liYou have the bpotential and ambition /b to grow into higher responsibility over time. /li /ul pbPlus (nice to have) /b /p ul liBackground or strong interest in psychology, mental health, or healthcare systems. /li liExperience working in a startup or fast-moving product environment. /li liComfort with ambiguity and imperfect information. /li /ul pbTogether with us /b /p pWe are a young, ambitious team with diverse backgrounds and beliefs. We love conversations about the big picture and the small individual parts. We believe in what we do and work hard for a slightly better world. None of us could count hours in a big company or watch injustice happen. We are also friends, parents, husbands and wives, standup comedians, yoga novices and Zen monks who appreciate and enjoy life. /p pSleep on it. Read it again. Start to believe that you belong to Aepsy. /p pThen take a deep breath and send a personal cover letter (yes, it will not only be read, but thoughtfully analyzed) together with your resume and portfolio. We want to feel that you truly want this role, at Aepsy — and understand why you are choosing it over other possibilities. We want to read what resonates with you, what motivates you, and why this mission matters to you personally. /p pbPS: /b Please don’t send us an impersonal, standardized, or AI-generated cover letter. It is a waste of your time and ours. There are better things to do instead — like enjoying the sun, taking a walk in the forest, or talking to a friend. Life is too beautiful to write impersonal cover letters :) /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
