We're hiring a Electronic System Engineer for our client in Luzern, an Swiss multinational engineering manufacturer.
It's on offer a 6-12 months contract.
The role requires 100% work on-site.
We look for someone to start ASAP.
The ESE builds and maintains the hardware infrastructure for hardware and software testing, and prepares and executes related tests.
Responsibilities:
* Run integration tests on new PCBAs and assemblies, and maintain test specs.
* Maintain and document test infrastructure for controller SW and HW.
* Prepare equipment for EMC and environmental tests.
* Support system testing by upgrading test towers and hardware.
* Track materials and plan cost-efficient upgrades; order and ship equipment.
* Reproduce and analyze field issues on test setups.
* Ensure quality deliverables and coordinate troubleshooting with HW/SW experts.
* Share best practices with other TSIs and improve test setups.
* Help create technical documentation.
Requirements:
* +3 years of experience in systems, software, and electrical engineering.
* Strong testing and QA knowledge for software-heavy products.
* Good Linux skills; basic Python or other scripting.
* Electrical systems background.
* English required, German a plus.
