Your tasks
* Lead research projects for the next generation solid-state batteries
* Methods development for physical and electrochemical characterization of battery materials
* Establish academic and industrial collaborations in projects focused on battery materials
* Publication of results in scientific journals and presentations at scientific meetings
* Assistance to the group head in preparation and execution of research projects
* Supervision of PhD students and postdocs
* Assistance to the lab management, equipment, and infrastructure planning
Your profile
* We are looking for a self-motivated team player able to work independently with prior experience in electrochemistry and battery research
* The candidate must have a PhD degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or in a related field
* A good experience in battery materials analytical methods - operando techniques is an advantage
* Successful funding acquisition (personal fellowships, research grants, collaborative projects, etc.)
* Background in synchrotron-based analytical methods is a plus
* Good publication track record
* Excellent communication skills
* Very good command of English and basic knowledge of German is required
