As a Customer Support Engineer, you will:
* Provide technical support, definition, and implementation of engine work scopes in agreement with the customer.
Your tasks
* Actively support by identifying, participating, or leading problem-solving activities or initiatives.
* Prepare and define engine work scopes for the CFM56 / PW4000 engines for shop visits, considering customer requirements, SR Technics standards, and contractual obligations.
* Optimize the work scope regarding performance, reliability, shop visit costs, and turnaround time.
* Provide technical customer support during shop visits.
* Define and improve the technical standards and maintenance concepts for the CFM56 / PW4000 engines and components, considering aviation requirements according to EASA Part 145, along with quality and commercial aspects.
* Prepare reliability analyses and continuously update and improve the Engine Maintenance Program.
* Support sales activities.
* Investigate damage events and produce investigation reports.
* Assist in engine maintenance and piece part repair organizations.
* Collaborate with OEMs and vendors to enhance reparability and reliability of engine parts.
* Support commercial product management regarding contractual issues, removal plans, work scoping, and LLP management.
* Participate in technical customer coordination meetings.
Your Profile
* ETH, BSc, FH, or HF qualification.
* Experience in the aviation MRO industry.
* English proficiency at B2 level.
* German language skills are a plus.
