Private Investment Accountant (3 months temporary contract)
Executive Summary of Responsibilities
The Private Investment Accountant is responsible for the end-to-end bookkeeping of specific group companies (DAD/DNI/DSP/DIM) in strict accordance with legal and tax standards. You will lead the implementation and improvement of accounting processes, manage financial closings for private equity and real estate portfolios, and serve as a proactive business partner to internal clients and external auditors.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Accounting Operations: Execute daily accounting for the group's private investment companies, specifically focusing on Private Equity and Real Estate.
* Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive quarterly and yearly financial closings and consolidate annual group company accounts.
* Compliance & Audits: Serve as the primary operational contact for external auditors and ensure all activities meet accounting and legal standards.
* Tax Management: Handle the accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
* Process Optimization: Propose and lead the implementation of improvements to accounting processes and digital tools.
* Ad-hoc Reporting: Generate specialized reports as required to support business decision-making.
* Business Partnership: Act as a reliable finance partner for internal clients to support investment strategies.
* Team Support: Provide flexible, ad-hoc support to the broader accounting team as needed.
Profile Required
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* Investment Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience in investment accounting, specifically within Private Equity and Real Estate.
* Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ERP accounting software and MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
* Tech‑Savvy Mindset: A strong interest in adopting new technologies and driving digitalization improvements.
* Analytical Rigor: A methodical and structured approach with a high degree of precision and an analytical mind.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
