Internship Machine Vision (60-100%)
Duration: 6‑month; earliest start: June 2026
Responsibilities
* Evaluating use cases in classical computer vision and machine learning
* Assessing the usability of industrial cameras in combination with our vision framework
* Prototype setup with one or more cameras in industrial environment, collect data
* Supporting data normalization workflows based on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
* Building the foundation for performance measurement and automated labeling in production
* Documenting findings and results
Qualifications
* Degree in mechanical, electrical, software engineering, or microtechnology (HF/FH/University)
* Solid software development skills (Python, C/C++, Windows and/or Linux)
* Experience with camera systems and image processing (OpenCV, HALCON) as well as machine learning
* Knowledge of MLOps is a plus
* Strong teamwork skills, creativity, and an innovative mindset
* Fluent in English and/or German
