This role is pivotal in overseeing and enhancing our trading infrastructure, including code, database, dashboard management, and hardware oversight. The successful candidate will ensure optimal system performance and apply industry best practices to improve our technological framework.The Quant Developer will collaborate with quant traders and researchers to develop new execution algorithms and integrate new datasets into the team's infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow for trading strategies.Key Responsibilities :Algorithm Development :Design, develop, and test execution algorithms in collaboration with traders and researchers. Improve algorithms based on performance data and feedback. Ensure robustness in real-time trading environments. Develop algorithms for data integration to enhance infrastructure utility.Infrastructure Management :Manage current infrastructure, including codebases, databases, and hardware. Enhance system reliability, performance, scalability, and optimize existing technological stack. Manage hardware resources effectively.Cross-Functional Collaboration :Work with traders, researchers, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Contribute to strategic technological planning. Provide technical support and training.Continuous Improvement :Stay updated on trading technology and research developments. Propose innovative solutions to improve execution, infrastructure, and data integration. Participate in code reviews and promote high-quality software development practices.Qualifications :Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.2-5 years of experience in quant development, focusing on trading infrastructure, execution algorithms, and data integration.Proficiency in Python; knowledge of .NET is a plus.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud management.Experience with network infrastructure design and maintenance; understanding of networking concepts.Familiarity with trading systems, execution platforms, and market data feeds.Knowledge of algorithmic trading and quantitative research is desirable.Skills :Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.Strong understanding of software development best practices.Experience in trading or commodities is advantageous but not required.Background in statistics and modeling (e.g., Machine Learning) is a plus.Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in English required.If you believe you are a good fit for this position, we encourage you to apply.
