Our Forensic team is a multidisciplinary group of professionals (i.e., accountants, lawyers, data analysts, forensic technology specialists, and former law enforcement professionals) that develops business concepts aimed specifically at creating trust and preventing or combating fraud, corruption, misappropriation of assets, and compliance with specific regulations.
As part of the reinforcement of our services and support for the growth of our teams, the Forensic & Integrity Services department is looking for Consultant(s) in business investigation and integrity with a focus on accounting and finance for its Geneva office.
The opportunity:
Within our team, you will join a specific mandate where the mission consists of compliance investigations in various sectors:
1. Familiarization with the initial elements necessary for the investigation available before the on-site visit.
2. Conducting in-depth interviews, searching for documents to ensure exhaustive information collection; using comparative approaches to verify the validity of the data collected.
3. Document examination assisted by technology, data analysis, and quantifying the financial impacts.
4. Writing detailed investigation reports, including legal references and quantitative data, in compliance with legal standards.
5. Investigations of various types of misconduct (for example, fraud, bribery, corruption).
6. Design, evaluation, and implementation of compliance management and anti-fraud systems.
7. Development and implementation of guidelines, codes, and communication strategies in compliance and anti-fraud.
8. Work on assessing the risks and performance in terms of compliance.
9. Contribution to risk management checks from third parties and integrity.
10. Collaboration with clients, fraud investigators, internal and external auditors, lawyers, and regulatory authorities in sensitive and sometimes conflicting situations.
